JOTA stands for Jambore On The Air. The WB4ARU Club set up radios at the Boy Scout Hut in Brewton, Alabama. The Boy Scout Hut is located next to the First Methodist Church. We allowed the Boy Scouts to make contacts with other Scouts all over the world.

The Brewton Amateur Radio Union ran 3 HF Stations and one UHF Station using Echolink during JOTA (Jamboree On The Air). The Stations were set up at the Boy Scouts Hut Troop 42 in Brewton, Alabama.
