Ham Fest with the BARU

The BARU along with the Escambia County Alabama Sheriff Department and Escambia County Alabama EMA set up a Special Event Station on June 20, 2009. The Special Event Station was held at the 29th Annual Blueberry Festival in Downtown Brewton, Alabama.

We set up one HF Station and one VHF Station to acess the local repeater. We had some guest drop by and they were given some Ham Radio information.
